Rob Carrick

Robert Carrick is a senior defence and aerospace executive with experience leading complex, mission critical teams, and driving growth, operations and transformation in highly regulated defence, aerospace and advanced manufacturing organisations. He has advised defence industry, government, consulting and research organisations on sovereign aerospace, advanced technologies, industry engagement and workforce pathways.

Robert first developed his passion for aviation learning to fly with the Australian Air Force Cadets, before serving in the Royal Australian Air Force in roles supporting air operations. This background underpins his role as a Non Executive Director of the Australian Air Force Cadets Foundation, where he combines his aerospace experience with board governance and stakeholder engagement to connect cadets, Defence, industry and community partners, creating structured pathways into aviation, STEM and broader defence careers.
