Duke of Edinburgh's Award

 

Staff and Cadets have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

Cadets will also be eligible to wear the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award badge on their AFB Uniform upon completion of each stage.

Almost everything you undertake in the AAFC can contribute to the Award. The gold level assists with leadership development and is ideal for all senior cadets and transitioning cadets to staff.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is an international program that AAFC participate in.We charge $100 per level for Air Force Cadets someone at a school or outside our organisation is usually 60% more on average between the states and territories! Many activities that the Air Force Cadets do can be put towards the different levels of the program. 

The Australian Air Force Cadets acknowledges this country and its traditional custodians.

We acknowledge and respect the spiritual relationship between the traditional custodians and this country which is inspired by language of songs, dance law and dream time stories over many thousands of years and we pay our respect to the elders who have passed into the dreaming, those here today, and those of tomorrow. May we continue to peacefully walk together in gratitude, respect and kindness in caring for this country and each other.
